Teen dating violence poster
Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month (TDVAM) is a national effort every February to raise awareness and promote programs that help prevent abuse in teen and 20-something dating relationships.
Maybe you think it's your fault that your partner is so abusive … can include ridiculing, name-calling, threats, constant criticism, controlling, belittling, and other negative behavior to scare their partner or destroy her/his self-esteem.
We hope that they will be helpful in your efforts to prevent dating violence.
If parents, teachers, and teens are not aware of the significance of teen dating violence, they will not understand the importance of educating teens.
All of the resources on this page should be helpful for sharing with your local school board, state representative, or congressperson to help them understand the importance of supporting policies that will help protect adolescents from dating violence.
